Hello! We’re Kelly and Olohana Strong, and we’re truly grateful that you’re taking the time to learn more about us and Malosi Ministries. We’ve been happily married for six wonderful years, and together we have a blended family of four children, plus a few extras we lovingly claim as our own. For us, family isn’t just about blood; it’s about love and connection.

Our journey to founding Malosi Ministries has been long and full of growth. Before we met, both of us experienced many challenges and lessons that helped shape who we are today. But the real transformation began after we came together. Through countless experiences and meeting people from all walks of life, our ministry grew and evolved, preparing us for the purpose God had in store.

Malosi Ministries was born during a family visit to Hawaii. While praying about how we could serve our church in Ohio, we felt the Holy Spirit guiding us to focus on supporting church leaders. We realized that those who pour out love and encouragement to their congregations often need care themselves. In fact, as of 2025, 38% of pastors have considered leaving the ministry due to stress, burnout, or disillusionment. After sharing our vision with our pastor, we quickly saw that this was a real need—not just in our church, but in many others.

As we continued to pray and plan, the Holy Spirit revealed that our vision was even bigger than we imagined. Malosi Ministries grew from serving our local leaders to reaching many church leaders everywhere. Our heart is to provide a place where church leaders can retreat, pray, refocus, and rediscover their “why.” We want them to remember the reason they do ministry. As Jesus said in John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Ministry isn’t easy, but the reward is worth the challenges—and we want to offer the rest and encouragement leaders need to continue their mission.
